According to CAPSAW's 2015 data, "15.6% of Waynesboro's households were struggling to pay bills and put food on the table and 28.6% of children were living in these conditions. As these families struggled, [in Waynesboro,] some lost their homes, were forced to live in cars, find temporary housing or live on the streets [or in hotels]." (News Virginian)

Ways to Give:

Accepted Gift Types:
All contributions to Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministry, Inc. (WARM) are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. WARM accepts donations and gifts of any type. Donations can be fulfilled by cash, credit/debit card, check, stock, bond, money transfer, endowment, cashier's check, gift card, bank drafts, or direct bill payment. Financial donations are used to operate Ruth's WARM House, the Thermal Shelter, and accompanying overhead costs. Donations can be made for general operating expenses, designated to a specific program, or restricted to specific uses within a program.
