The very first week of this year's Cold Weather Shelter was held at Fishersville United Methodist Church.     They have separate rooms for males & females.  This is a picture of the Women's dorm area.   WARM Staff works hard to foster a sense of community & family for our guests, as this is something very new to a lot of them.   Many times, building relationships with our guests allows us to work more efficiently to help them receive desperately needed services & support.      The Cold Weather Shelter has a schedule of daily activities.  This helps foster a sense of normality and continuity.  Monday nights are "family meeting" nights, where Pastor Lee Reid leads a prayer/praise/discussion time.  He goes over how things went the week before and discusses items that need the group's attention.  Tuesdays are movie nights, where a variety of movies & snacks are enjoyed by

The WARM Volunteer Appreciation dinner for our shelter volunteers was held on April 25, 2019.    The location was First Baptist Church in Waynesboro.   Dinner was prepared by Chef Jerry Wells, and included a salad, roasted chicken, red potatoes, and green beans with a variety of cheesecakes for dessert.   The flowers in the front were generously donated by Waynesboro Florist.   Faithful Men provided a moving program of acapella gospel songs.   Following the wonderful music program, we had a few brief speakers, including Dr. Jeffrey Cassell, Superintendent of Waynesboro Public Schools,  and Debra Freeman-Belle, WARM's Executive Director.   Our volunteers were given tokens of our appreciation inside a WARM mug (part of the gift).     The image on the program was drawn for WARM by Lisa Peruchini Brady.    There were also MANY door prizes donated by area businesses and friends of WARM  including Milmont Greenhouses (donated ALL the
